Karen has served as a Water Safety volunteer with the Red Cross for 41 years training lifeguards and water safety instructors. She has served our chapter in a variety of leadership positions.  In 1993 she was nominated for the National American Red Cross Health & Safety Award and in 1997 she received the Chapter’s  Beulah T.Meyers Award. Karen’s belief and concern for water safety in this community provides her with the drive to train people who will save lives. We are grateful to Karen for her commitment and dedication and her love for water safety.
